Manchester United icon Luis Saha has urged new manager Ruben Amorim to sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen.
Victor Osimhen remains one of the world's best forwards, and his stock has continued to rise, even on loan at Galatasaray.
The 25-year-old remains contracted to Napoli but the feeling among all parties is that a permanent exit next summer is the perfect outcome.
Several clubs hold a strong interest in the Nigerian, including Chelsea and Arsenal, but ex-Manchester United striker Louis Saha believes the Red Devils must sign the striker to solve their goalscoring issues.
Speaking to Boyle Sports, Saha said:
“If you look at the stats, Man Utd should go after Victor Osimhen over Viktor Gyokeres, it’s as simple as that.
“He’s been scoring goals for four years at Napoli and has done exactly the same since joining Galatasaray, scoring goals for fun.”
" He doesn’t care how his goals go in; he just wants to score, and that’s what he does.
“He reminds me of Erling Haaland in that sense. I think he could be what Man Utd need,” he said.
Osimhen has scored 8 goals in 9 appearances since joining Galatasaray on loan and was on target to help the Super Eagles draw 1-1 with Benin Republic in their AFCON 2025 qualifier on Friday night.
