Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has been left out as the Premier League unveiled their Manager of the Season nominees, with Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta the leading names.
After an entertaining domestic season, six managers will fight for the coveted award, including Roberto De Zerbi of Brighton, Newcastle's Eddie Howe, Fulham's Marco Silva and Aston Villa tactician Unai Emery.
With Guardiola's Man City set for a third straight title after beating off competition from Arsenal, the Spaniard will be one of the favourites for the award.
Also, Arteta - whose Arsenal team fought City for so long and topped the table for 93 per cent of the campaign before falling away towards the end, will deserve credit.
Newcastle boss Howe will as well be seen as a strong contender for the gong, with the Magpies in the top four for much of the season and hoping to secure a famous Champions League spot in the final three games of the campaign.
With Brighton currently in sixth place and set for a Europa League spot ahead of Tottenham, Roberto De Zerbi has also been recognized for his incredible work in his debut season in England.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa are in eighth place under Emery - who has also been nominated after transforming the team at Villa Park.
At the time of his appointment, the club was glaring at relegation, but they are now battling for a place in Europe.
On the other hand, Silva, whose Fulham side is on course for a top-half finish in their first season back in the Premier League, has also been recognized.
Ten Hag had a rough start in his first season at Old Trafford as he lost his first two games, 2-1 at home to Brighton and 4-0 away at Brentford, before he turned the tables and steadily created a positive team culture and already bettered last season.
He has led United into the top four - where they are hoping to stay if they can hold off a late surge from arch-rivals Liverpool, who are fifth with 65 points, one behind the former.
