Nzoia Sugar FC captain Harun ‘Mwalimu’ Thomas has revealed that his teammates and the coaching staff are working around the clock to find ways of getting out of their current predicament in the league.
Nzoia, along with several others, is mired in a fight against relegation, a situation that has become increasingly tense as the season progresses.
The defensive midfielder, who can also slot into central defence, has revealed that it has not been easy being in the position they currently are and has revealed what they will do to get out of their current predicament.

“We are trying to get ourselves out of the position,” Thomas insisted.
“As players and the technical team, we will try to work hard in order to ensure that we do well this season.”
So far the club has unveiled three players: defender Daniel Masengo from Shitaho Soccer SC in Kakamega County, Sharif Ali from fellow FKF Premier League team Muhoroni Youth, and striker Obed Washington Manyonyi from Rosterman United.
Thomas believes that the additions will strengthen the side enough in order to achieve their immediate target of steering clear away from the drop zone.
