The Batoto ba Mungu have lost their last two matches and the tactician insists his charges are not learning from their undoing.
Sofapaka head coach David Ouma felt his charges threw the game away after losing to Bidco United.
On Sunday, Batoto ba Mungu took to the field looking to return to winning ways, but it turned out to be a frustrating afternoon as they fell 2-0 to Bidco in a one-sided encounter played at Kasarani Annex Stadium.
Ouma was left infuriated with what he felt were repetitive mistakes by his players.
"We have not had enough energy for the last two matches to give our opponents competition. Regarding team organization, we should always try to influence the wide areas to get something out of it.
We had possession of the game against Bidco, but the problem is that my players need to do better when facing teams playing direct football, and as you know, most of the teams in the league have more direct-oriented players.
The difficult situation is that my players don't bring the tactics to life. Mental strength is what I want to see from them. The goals that we conceded were just gifts to our opponents. My strategies and tactics have to be brought to life by the players.
You can plan properly as a coach, but the actors have to do it, and that is the reality. I believe we can do better."
The defeat saw Sofapaka continue their inconsistency in the FKFPL, as they have now recorded two losses, a draw, and two wins in their last five matches.
Batoto ba Mungu dropped to 12th position on the league standings, and they cannot afford to drop points again when they take on Kariobangi Sharks on Friday afternoon.
