Ladan Bosso and his Flying Eagles have failed in their quest to win Nigeria’s first-ever FIFA U20 World Cup title.

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have come to the end of their journey at the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina.

It was heartbreak as Africa's last man standing at the FIFA U20WC, the Flying Eagles fell 1-0 to a stubborn South Korea after extra time in the quarterfinal on Sunday.

Ladan Bosso’s men dominated the encounter and created the better chances but failed to make it count in regulation time.

Just five minutes into the first half of extra time, South Korea scored the decisive winner as Seok-Hyun Chai headed superbly from a corner to break Nigerian hearts.
