Spanish star responded to allegations that he looked like a habitual smoker.
Spain international defender Dean Huijsen has addressed the allegations that he is regularly under the influence of marijuana.
The 19-year-old recently made his debut for La Roja. He has had an exceptional season for Bournemouth so far, but many fans have noticed his droopy eyes, which tend to make him look sleepy on the pitch. This has led to speculation that the Amsterdam-born defender consumes marijuana.

Spanish Football trio Yamal, Williams and Aghehowa's viral dance to Nigerian hit 'Shake Body' steals spotlight before explosive UEFA Nations League thriller.
Huijsen addresses the claim
In a recent appearance on a podcast, the host, Matthew Pincus, asked Huijsen about his eyes, and the former Juventus star replied, saying that it was genetic and that he got it from his mother.
He denied the weed smoking allegations, stating that it was a banned substance, explaining that he merely had “sleepy eyes.”
"Basically, for everyone watching, I have sleepy eyes," he said on the pod. "I have it from my mum because my mum has sleepy eyes. I'm not high. I'm sorry, I'm not high. We're not allowed to take weed; it's doping control. I'm not high. It's how I was born. I can't do anything about it."
The teenager has been linked with a move to a number of top clubs in the summer. As Pulse Sports reported, Real Madrid are the latest to indicate interest in signing him but will have to compete with Bayern Munich and Chelsea, as they are also keen.
Huijsen has a reported release clause of €50 million, and he is expected to leave the Cherries next summer after only one season at the club.
