Police have become the only FUFA Big League side left in the competition, following the elimination of the rest in the preceding rounds.

Meanwhile, on the evening, Ogwang broke the deadlock in the fifth minute through a fine strike past goalkeeper Shanon Mulabi.

The FUFA Big League top-scorer then made it two in the 65th minute, off a rebound after his initial shot rattled the woodwork.

Three minutes to the 90, substitute Wasswa added his name to the scoresheet with another well-taken strike.

At the death, Police added the final nail in the coffin, as Kabuye converted from a penalty having conceded a foul in the box.

Following the result, Police joins Regional League side Pajule Lions and Uganda Premier League outfits Kitara FC, KCCA FC and BUL FC in the quarterfinals of the 50th edition of the Cup.
