Meanwhile, Rugarama beat Kigezi Homeboyz courtesy of a 5-4 penalty shootout to reach this stage.

The team has been playing in each league on one occasion since their participation in the fifth tier of Ugandan football.

In the current season, they sit third in the Kigezi region with 25 points in 11 matches played. With a game less, they are seven points behind leaders Ntoda FC.

At this stage, games are played on a one-leg basis, and penalties will decide the contest should it remain tied after 90 minutes.
