Starlet have parted company with coach Joshua Sakwa after going out of the FKF Women's Cup last-32 stage.
Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League side Kayole Starlet have announced their new manager just hours after Joshua Sakwa was sacked.
Sakwa was relieved of his duties after Kayole Starlet were knocked out of the FKF Women’s Cup by Division One side Falling Waters Barcelona FC on Saturday afternoon.
The Kayole Starlet head honchos wasted no time by finding a replacement as Mary Odhiambo will take over as their new head coach.
Odhiambo will be assisted by former player Margaret Wanjihia while Benedict Oduor will be their new first-team physio.
Starlet have already been relegated from the FKF Women's Premier League with 10 matches remaining after losing 3-0 to Wadadia in a match that was played on March 12.
The team are currently at the bottom of the 12-team table with minus nine points (-9) in 12 matches and are yet to win a match this season.
Nine points were deducted by the federation from the team after they forfeited two league matches against Wadadia at Mumias Complex and Bunyore Starlets at Mumboha Grounds.
The new coach Odhiambo was previously in-charge of Mathare Women FC and once served as Harambee Starlets' assistant coach.
