Nigeria Super Eagles B are set to commence preparation for the 2025 CHAN.
Coach Daniel Ogunmodede has announced a squad of 26 players for the Super Eagles B led by Rabiu Ali, Pele, as they kick-start their closed-camping exercise at the Remo Stars Sports Institute in Ikenne-Remo, starting Monday, January 6.
This preparation is in anticipation of the 8th African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals, which will take place from February 1 to February 28.

Super Eagles B shared spoils with Ghana when both teams clashed on Sunday in CHAN qualifiers.
Among the players called up are captain Nduka Junior, goalkeeper Henry Ozoemena, defenders Sadiq Ismail and Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, midfielder Saviour Isaac, and forward Sikiru Alimi.
Other notable inclusions are goalkeeper Kayode Bankole, defenders Imo Obot and Stephen Manyo, midfielders Musa Zayyad, Ali, and Papa Daniel Mustapha, along with forwards Adamu Abubakar and Emmanuel Ogbole.
The Super Eagles B made history by qualifying for the CHAN finals for the first time in six years after thrashing Ghana's Black Galaxies 3-1 on aggregate.
This victory followed a goalless draw in the first leg in Accra, showing the team's determination to break a six-year absence from the tournament.
The upcoming CHAN tournament will feature 18 participating countries, including joint-hosts Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda, alongside Nigeria, Morocco, Guinea, Senegal, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Niger Republic, Congo, Sudan, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Angola, and Madagascar.
After breaking Ghana’s Hegemony, Nigeria is looking to do well at the competition in a bid to do well and potentially lift the title for the first time.
