Dusan Tadic and Edin Dzeko stole the show after sharing the goals amongst themselves, Super Eagles defender Osayi-Samuel appears to be losing his position in the team.
The talented 26-year-old looked set to retain his position after impressing in pre-season following Mourinho’s shock arrival as new manager.
However, despite playing over an hour in the 2-2 draw at Goztepe, Osayi-Samuel has now failed to play a part in Fenerbahce’s thumping wins against Rizespor and Alayaspor.
His absence was hardly missed as Mourinho’s side routed their visitors with a brace from former Ajax man, Tadic and Manchester City star Dezko.
Osayi-Samuel has played just two matches for Fenerbahce and started both but may have to do more to convince the Special One to reclaim his starting berth.
Meanwhile, as Bright fights for his position in the team Mourinho has landed another high-profile addition from the continent.
The Fenerbahce boss has been praised by fans for his latest signing as he continues to drive the team towards success.
