The Monaco star has always maintained his love for the Portuguese star and in a previous interview eulogised the ex-Real Madrid star, saying, “Cristiano Ronaldo is the best footballer of all time. He inspires others and is also a good person off the field.

"I watch his videos all the time. So, it should come as no surprise that Manchester United are my favourite club, right? Cristiano played there, didn’t he?"

In a more recent interview, Ilenikhena, when faced with a choice between Cristiano Ronaldo and other global superstars, Ilenikhena unanimously picked the Portuguese star over Lionel Messi, Ronaldo de Lima, and other choices.
