Meet the men who will work behind the scenes with the new Super Eagles coach.
The Nigeria Football Federation has unveiled Eric Chelle as the new head coach of Nigeria's Super Eagles.
The unveiling ceremony occurred on Monday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium conference room in Abuja.

The 47-year-old was unveiled alongside his backroom staff, including first assistant Hadi Taboubi, fitness trainer Thomas Gornourec, and goalkeeper trainer Jean Daniel Padovani.
Eric Chelle has three assistants
All three assistants, Taboubi, Gornourec, and Padovani, previously worked with Chelle at Algerian club MC Oran, ensuring a pre-existing working relationship and established team dynamic.
Hadi Taboubi, a French-Tunisian national, will serve as Chelle's first assistant. This is not their first time working together, as Taboubi also served as Chelle's assistant during his time coaching the Mali national team.
Thomas Gornourec will be the team's fitness trainer. Gornourec brings impressive qualifications to the role, holding a UEFA A License and a Master's Degree.

New Super Eagles coach coach highlighted four things he will implement to help Nigeria achieve their footballing goals.
Rounding out the staff is goalkeeper trainer Jean Daniel Padovani. Padovani has prior experience at the international level, having worked with the Comoros national team at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

New Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle pens love letter to Nigerians, rallies support ahead of World Cup qualifiers in March.
The President of the NFF, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, said that the Franco-Malian embodies the fresh energy, new thinking, and positive attitude with which they want the Super Eagles to prosecute their remaining six matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
“We appreciate the fact that Nigerians are very passionate about the game of football, and that is the reason for the different tones of reactions following the appointment of coach Chelle.
“However, the NFF hereby appeals to Nigerians to come together and support him, as we believe he has the qualities to achieve success with the Super Eagles.
“The NFF will give him all the support that he needs to succeed in the job.”
The first test for Eric Chelle and his coaching crew is the World Cup qualifiers scheduled for March.
