Chippa United and Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali took to Instagram to celebrate teammate Victor Osimhen's impressive start to 2025 after the striker scored Galatasaray's first goal of the year in their match against Goztepe.

In the match played on Saturday night, Osimhen opened the scoring for Galatasaray with a penalty just 10 minutes into the game, following a foul on Kaan Ayhan.

Although Göztepe equalised just before halftime through Romulo, Galatasaray regained their lead in the second half with a goal from Yunus Akgün, ultimately winning the match 2-1.

Nwabali encouraged Osimhen with a simple yet powerful message: "Just believe in yourself VO9," acknowledging the forward's talent and determination.

With this goal, Osimhen has now scored 10 goals in 12 league matches this season and boasts a total of 12 goals across all competitions.
