Nigeria's Super Eagles team news against Rwanda in the AFCONQ2025 battle.

Nigeria's Super Eagles have already qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, but they are determined to finish their AFCONQ2025 campaign on a high note as they prepare to face Rwanda's Amavubi in their final qualifier.

Despite the absence of several key players, Head Coach Augustine Eguavoen is expected to field a strong lineup that can maintain the team's recent form and continue their preparations for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Here is how the Eagles could line up against the Amavubi in Uyo later tonight.

Goalkeeper:

With first-choice keeper Stanley Nwabali excused from the camp, Eguavoen is likely to hand the gloves to Maduka Okoye, who has been impressive in his recent outings for Serie A side Udinese.

Okoye has not been in the post for the Eagles since his error in the AFCON2021 against Tunisia.

Defenders:

In the backline, the coach may opt for a combination of experienced heads and youthful exuberance.

William Troost-Ekong is expected to lead the defence, with the likes of Gabriel Osho getting another chance to impress, while Bruno Onyeamachi and Bright Osayi-Samuel, who could replace Ola Aina, take the fullback spots.

Midfielders:

In the heart of the midfield, the ever-reliable Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi are likely to retain their starting spots.

Complementing them could be the dynamic Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who partnered with Ndidi the last time both teams met in Kigali.

Forwards:

The absence of Ademola Lookman means that more responsibility will fall on the shoulders of the team's attacking talisman, Victor Osimhen.

The Galatasaray striker will be flanked by the pace and skill of Moses Simon and Samuel Chukwueze, who will be eager to showcase their talents and secure their places in the squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Bench Options:

The Super Eagles' bench could feature the likes of Victor Boniface and Kelechi Iheanacho, providing Eguavoen with attacking options to introduce if needed.

Additionally, the coach may call upon the services of midfielder Frank Onyeka and NPFL defender Victor Collins, who could make his international debut at home.

While the Super Eagles will be missing several key players for their final AFCONQ2025 qualifier against Rwanda, the predicted lineup suggests that Eguavoen has a strong squad at his disposal to maintain the team's momentum and finish the campaign on a high note.

The combination of seasoned veterans and promising young talents could prove to be a formidable force as the Super Eagles look to lay down a marker ahead of the preparations for the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers next year when they face Rwanda again.
