Super Eagles rising star has finally completed his move to MLS side New England Revolution.
Alhassan Yusuf made 116 appearances for the Belgian side Royal Antwerp, scoring four goals and providing seven assists before completing his move to the MLS.
Yusuf's transfer has been formally announced by the club following the completion of the required documentation and agreement.
The midfielder will now be a part of the expanding group of talented Nigerians in Major League Soccer (MLS), where he joins fellow countrymen Chidozie Awaziem and Obinna Nwobodo.

Alhassan moves to MLS
MLS side New England Revolution have announced the signing of Nigerian international Al Hassan.
The New England Revolution took to their social media account on X to welcome the midfielder with the caption, “Welcome, 𝑨𝒍𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒏 𝒀𝒖𝒔𝒖𝒇! 🇳🇬”
According to reports, the deal is worth approximately $2 million, as the Revolution strengthened their team in time for the next campaign.
Following the signing of the Super Eagles star, New England Revolution manager Caleb Porter was asked about the new signing, Yusuf.
He said, “I wish I could say more. I can’t, but yes, it’s exciting. We’ve added a few key pieces, and with every addition, we’re building something strong.
“Every player we bring in, brick by brick, is part of a solid foundation. We’re striving to get each player right, and we’re focused on making the best possible decisions for the team.”
Alhassan will be looking to kickstart the new season with the New England Revolution and bring his experience from Europe to the club.
