Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen star Victor Boniface is not happy with EA FC and FIFA after seeing his rating for passing during his card reveal.

Bayer Leverkusen and Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has expressed his displeasure with EA FC (formerly known as FIFA) following the reveal of his player rating for the upcoming game.

The 23-year-old Nigerian international was particularly upset with his passing rating, which he feels doesn't reflect his actual abilities on the pitch.

In a video shared by Bayer Leverkusen on their social media platforms, Boniface was seen reacting to his card reveal alongside teammates Jeremy Frimpong and Edmound Tapsoba.

While his overall rating of 82 seemed to disappoint him, it was his passing score that truly irked the striker the most.

"I see it from here, 82, they don't rate," Boniface commented, before asking, "Who rates this card?" His teammates informed him it was FIFA (now EA FC).

The striker's main point of contention was his passing rating of 66. "How will you give me 66 for passing when I have almost 10 assists?" Boniface questioned, clearly frustrated.

His teammate Frimpong chimed in, mentioning Boniface's "no-look passes" and joking that "Sometimes, you close your eyes (to pass)."

Unimpressed by the explanation, Boniface concluded, "Nah, this is bullshit."

The Nigerian's frustration is understandable given his impressive performances since joining Bayer Leverkusen last year.

In his debut season, Boniface won four consecutive Rookie of the Month awards and was instrumental in the club's historic unbeaten domestic double.

Boniface contributed 30 goals in 34 matches in his debut season at Bayer Leverkusen.

His impressive campaign saw him score 21 goals and provide nine assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.

Boniface's contributions were crucial in propelling Leverkusen to the Europa League final, where they unfortunately lost to Atalanta, a team featuring hattrick hero and his compatriot Ademola Lookman.

This incident highlights the ongoing debate about the accuracy of player ratings in football video games and their impact on players' perceptions of their abilities.

It remains to be seen whether EA FC will respond to his outburst and also if future updates to the game will reflect his performances more accurately.
