Super Eagles star has made a transfer decision after picking between the Premier League and Saudi Arabia.
Raphael Onyedika has been the subject of transfer speculation in recent weeks and has been linked with a move away from Club Brugge.
Following his return to Belgium, the midfielder has stated that, should the appropriate offer come up, he would be willing to leave Club Brugge this summer.
The Club Brugge star was recently in Nigeria for his end-of-the-season vacation where he linked up with teammates Osimhen and Boniface and chilled with other celebrities like Cubana Chief Priest and Charles Okocha.
Onyedika decides next destination
Onyedika is reportedly being monitored by an undisclosed Saudi Arabian team willing to pay about €20 million for the player.
However, he claims he is not ready to move to the Middle East from Europe just yet since it does not seem like the right move for his career.
According to SportsBoom, Onyedika said, “I’m not sure the Middle East is the best place for my development at the moment.”
A few unnamed Premier League teams are also interested in Onyedika as Club Brugge prepares to lose the midfield player.
The 23-year-old also acknowledges that he will not turn down a move because every player desires to play in the English premier league.
He continued, “These are places that you can’t say no to as a footballer. If they call and everything is right, of course.
“It’s really flattering when you see these names, this calibre of clubs interested in your services.
“But I’m just focused on playing my game, and not necessarily who talks to who. A lot of this is not up to me, you know. My agent will have to look at everything, and ultimately decide what’s best for all parties.”
The Super Eagles midfielder signed for Club Brugge in 2022 for a fee worth 10 million euros and has helped the club win the Belgian Pro League during the 2023/24 season.
Earlier this year, Onyedika also competed for Nigeria in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles, winning a silver medal.
