Super Eagles star Gift Orban will face disciplinary action from Olympique Lyonnais for his contentious social media post.
Lyon recently played a 2-2 draw against Auxerre last weekend, leaving them in seventh position on the Ligue 1 table.
Orban failed to make the matchday squad against Auxerre, with the manager giving reason for the Super Eagles star's exclusion from the squad.
Pierre Sage, Lyon's manager, claimed that his performance was not good enough to make the team.

Super Eagles star Gift Orban has heaped praise on club captain Alexandre Lacazette following his influence on the team.
Orban faces disciplinary action
Orban is set to face disciplinary action after hailing Auxerre star Sinaly Diamonde, who scored and provided an assist against Lyon.
Orban's response, which included the word "Top" and two fire emojis, was meant to cheer up his friend, but Lyon's supporters and management didn't like it because Diamonde scored against them.
The forward later clarified that he was not aware his friend's goals were against his own team after the post swiftly caused resentment among Lyon supporters.
The striker said, “Excuse me, OL fans, it was a mistake. I made this comment just to encourage my friend.
“I didn’t even realise it was from our match; who would wish for his own team to lose? We work hard each day to win matches and trophies. For OL, I am sorry – thank you.”
According to RMC Sports, the club doesn't seem willing to overlook the event, even after he clarified it.
Orban may be subject to punishment, such as forfeiting his ethical bonus after Lyon management reportedly called him in for a formal meeting.
