After the Super Eagles star failed to impress in the season opener where he featured for an hour from the star, he was relegated to the bench for their first away game of the season.

However, despite creating as many as three big chances, Milan had Parma’s wastefulness to thank for being in the game heading into the break.

Parma kept pushing and 11 minutes later had the last laugh as Matteo Cancellierri turned out to be the super sub and hero, netting the decisive winner 13 minutes from time.
For Nigeria’s Chukwueze, who enjoyed a great pre-season with Milan, it has been another underwhelming start to what is expected to be a redemption campaign for him after a debut season to forget.
Following the result, Milan have now managed just one point from a possible six under new manager Paulo Fonseca.
