Moses Simon's successful surgery
Nantes head coach Antoine Kombouaré at a press conference ahead of Sunday’s Ligue I game 27 trip to OGC Nice delivered the news of Moses Simon’s successful surgery.
Soar Super Eagles also shared Simon’s successful surgery on Twitter with a caption, “Moses Simon has completed successful surgery to address his fractured fibula. Wishing him speedy recovery and look forward to his return”
Nantes also replied to the post saying, “Get well soon @m_simon27.”
Meanwhile, coach Kombouaré expressed his regret over losing Simon for the remainder of the season, saying, as reported by Bsnsports, “We are sad for him because he wanted to find me but also to come back to help the team. That is not the case. Now, we will have to do without him.”
This was a rude shock to Nantes, who reacted promptly with a statement on their Instagram account, saying, “We are all with you, Moses.”
The 28-year-old forward, who has been with Nantes for his fifth season following his transfer from Levante in 2019, had been a key player for the team this season, starting 21 of his 22 appearances across their 26 fixtures with three goals to his name.
