The newly appointed Super Eagles has promised Nigerians 2026 FIFA World Cup ticket
The newly appointed Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle has promised Nigerians that he will qualify the team to the biggest footballing event, the World cup.
Chelle was officially unveiled on Monday in Abuja as the 42nd coach of Nigeria's men national team.

Chelle won five caps for the Aiglons of Mali during his playing career that also saw him represent FC Martigues, Valenciennes, Lens, Istres, and Chamois Niortais.
He stated that Nigerians rely on him to inspire the Super Eagles to improve their fortunes in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
What Chelle said
He said, "Nigeria is the most important. We have to win six games and qualify for the World Cup. It is our first job.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria are in a World Cup qualifiers group C that includes South Africa, Benin, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and Lesotho.
The group winner will qualify automatically for the World Cup, while the runners-up might have a chance through additional qualifiers.
Three-time African champions Nigeria are currently fifth in the group with three points from four games.
In March, Chelle will start the quest to qualify Nigeria’s Super Eagles for the World Cup by battling Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
For Super Eagles to be at the World Cup, they needed to win all the remaining six games as Chelle has quality squad that can help him achieve the task ahead.
