Nigerian star Rinsola expresses her pride and excitement as her younger brother signs with a new football club.

Nigerian international Rinsola Babajide is overjoyed after her younger sibling Oluwabunmi 'Bunmi' Babajide sealed a move to a new football club.

The Super Falcons star took to social media to share her pride and excitement as the 21-year-old striker kicked off a fresh adventure by penning a deal with Hampton and Richmond FC.

In a statement, the Beavers confirmed the signing of the talented forward, who arrives after an impressive goalscoring campaign with Carshalton Athletic last season.

"We are delighted to announce the signing of Oluwabunmi Babajide," the club said. "The 21-year-old Striker arrives after an impressive season at Carshalton, where he scored 20 goals in 37 games."

Bunmi, who came through the academy at QPR before spells at Colchester and Millwall's Under-23s, joins Hampton and Richmond in red-hot form from the third tier.

And Rinsola, a Nigerian international, who previously starred for Liverpool Women, was quick to express her delight at her younger brother's new challenge.

New journey!! Let's gooo lil bro @Bunmi91 proud of you always!" she tweeted, accompanied by a string of love heart emojis.

Hampton and Richmond boss Alan Julian is equally thrilled to have secured Bunmi's signature, believing the young striker will provide a welcome boost to his attacking options.

Bunmi gives us more options up front for sure," Julian said per the club website. "It means we can switch things up and be more flexible. He's quick, dynamic and prolific in front of goal."

The transfer represents an exciting new chapter for the 21-year-old, and with his sister Rinsola blazing a trail for Nigerian football, the future certainly looks bright for the Babajide family.
