Meanwhile, Oshoala was one of the notable absentees as Nigeria Super Falcons took a huge step towards another WAFCON qualifier.
The Barcelona star was initially called up but later pulled out ahead of the decisive first leg tie against Cape Verde in Abuja on Thursday.
However, she was hardly missed in the end as the Super Falcons thrashed the Blue Sharks 5-0 to put one leg in the 2024 tournament.
