The Super Falcons superstar joined the Italian giants Juventus as a free agent from NWSL.

Nigerian and Super Falcons sensation Jennifer Echegini appears to be on the verge of securing a transfer away from Juventus, with French giants Paris Saint-Germain, PSG, leading the race for her signature.

The 23-year-old midfielder, who only joined the Italian club in January, has reportedly handed in a transfer request at Juventus, citing the need to better fit with Italian football and their way of thinking.

Echegini's stunning performances since her arrival from the NWSL in the United States have not gone unnoticed, and it seems the lure of a new challenge in France with the Parisian powerhouse is too tempting for the Super Falcons star to resist.

In just 16 appearances for Juventus, the talented Nigerian has already proven her worth, netting an impressive 10 goals and providing one assist.

The French champions are eager to bolster their already formidable squad with the addition of the exciting young midfielder, who has quickly established herself as one of the most promising talents in European football.

The potential transfer would undoubtedly be a massive coup for PSG, as they look to strengthen their grip on the French Ligue 1 title and make a significant impact in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

For Juventus, the loss of such a talented player would be a significant blow, as they had high hopes for Echegini following her arrival in January.

The club will be desperate to convince the Nigerian international to remain in Turin, but it appears the allure of a move to Paris may be too strong to resist.
