Manchester City were unstoppable, dumping Paris FC and Nnadozie out of Europe

Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was unable to help her side Paris FC as they were knocked out of the UEFA Women's Champions League after a humbling 8-0 aggregate loss to Manchester City.

Nnadozie was on the wrong side of a pummeling as Manchester City followed up a 5-0 first-leg win in Paris with a 3-0 demolition at the Academy Stadium in Manchester.

A brace from Khadija Shaw and an early goal by Chloe Kelly were all Manchester City needed to complete their rout over the visitors and seal qualification for the main stages of the UEFA Women's Champions League.

How it happened

With a 5-0 advantage from the first leg, Manchester City started the second leg in similar dominant fashion, as Chloe Kelly found the back of the net just two minutes in.

After missing out on the Women's Champions League entirely last season, Manchester City showed that they were in no mood to take any chances, doubling their lead on the night on the half-hour mark.

Kelly turned provider after scoring the Cityzen's opener, delivering a perfect cross to Bunny Shaw, who finished with aplomb for her first goal of the match.

In the second half, Shaw added another goal from the penalty spot, beating Nnadozie for the second time on the night to make it 3-0 to Manchester City on the night and extending their aggregate lead to 8-0.

After her impressive performances in last season's European campaign, Nnadozie will be disappointed that her UEFA Women's Champions League journey has ended prematurely this year.
