After 1000 simulations, the Supercomputer has predicted where every team will finish in the 2024/25 season, including a grim forecast for Chelsea
As the new Premier League season draws closer following the end of an exciting summer of international football, a supercomputer has made its predictions for the 2024/25 Premier League table.
With just 32 days until the opening game between Manchester United and Fulham at Old Trafford, the Grovensor Sport’s Supercomputer has revealed where it believes every Premier League club will finish.
Manchester City predicted to dominate as Arsenal fall short again
According to Grosvenor Sport's supercomputer, Manchester City is set to continue their dominance, securing their fifth consecutive Premier League title.

The supercomputer, which simulates each match 1,000 times to ensure accuracy, predicts Pep Guardiola's side will finish with 94 points, in what is expected to be the Spanish gaffer’s final season. This prediction will see Manchester City finish with three points more than last season's tally and lift the title for the sixth time in Guardiola’s eight-year reign.

Arsenal, who narrowly missed out on the title last season, are predicted to finish eight points behind City with 86 points. Mikel Arteta's team, despite their efforts, are expected to once again be the runners-up. The Gunners will be looking to improve their performance to close the gap on City, but the supercomputer suggests they will fall short once more.
Liverpool and Manchester United secure top four spots
Liverpool, under new manager Arne Slot, are predicted to have a reasonably successful season, finishing third with 80 points, two fewer than ex-manager Jurgen Klopp managed in his final season.

Despite not registering any major improvements to the squad yet, the Supercomputer expects that The Reds will have enough in their tank to finish in the same position as last season, powered by old reliables like Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are expected to complete the Champions League spots, after missing out on the top four last season. They are pegged to finish fourth with 71 points, an 11-point improvement from last season.

Manchester United fans will hope that the additions of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro are enough to bolster their squad and secure their place in the top four, proving the Supercomputer right.
Chelsea and Aston Villa to miss out on top four
Chelsea, under Enzo Maresca, are expected to finish fifth with 67 points, just outside the Champions League spots yet again, but with the UEFA Europa League slot serving as a consolation this time. Aston Villa, who secured a fourth-place finish last term, are predicted to drop to sixth with 65 points.

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to drop to from fifth to seventh, even though they are predicted to finish with only three fewer points than last season.

Meanwhile, West Ham, Newcastle, and Brentford are billed to tie on 57 points, occupying the eighth, ninth, and tenth spots respectively.
Nigerians to feature heavily in relegation battle
Brighton are expected to take the biggest stumble of all the teams in the Premier League next season as the supercomputer's predictions have them narrowly avoiding relegation with 35 points, with Fabian Hurzeler the soon-to-be youngest-ever Premier League manager only able to finish level on points with promoted Southampton.

Leicester are expected to just about avoid disaster on their Premier League return, ending with 34 points and finishing just above the relegation places, surely, thanks to their retention of Nigerian midfield powerhouse Wilfred Ndidi.
However, Nottingham Forest, Wolves, and Ipswich Town are predicted to be relegated to the Championship with 32, 29, and 18 points, respectively. Despite Wolves' improvement under Gary O'Neil, the season is predicted to be too much to handle for the Wanderers, as the Supercomputer has them finishing second-from-bottom.

Nottingham Forest, who narrowly escaped relegation last season, are expected to fare just as poorly, with Nigerian duo Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi predicted to suffer the drop in 18th place.
Ipswich, whose rise has resembled a fairytale so far, are also expected to struggle in the big leagues, with the Supercomputer predicting that Keiran McKenna’s side will only amass 19 points throughout the season, the sixth-lowest points haul in Premier League history.
