In a glittering ceremony held in Ikenne, the inaugural The Creative Championship (TCC) Awards and Dinner Night celebrated the standout performers of the 2023/24 season.
Gbagada FC, despite a ninth-place finish in the TCC League, emerged as the biggest winners of the night, with three of their players making the Team of the Season.

The TCC Cup final will be a battle between goal kings Beyond Limits and goal-shy Sporting Lagos in Ikenne.
Gbagada, Flying Eagles star win big at TCC Awards
The standout performer for the Blue Eagles was Semiu Fagbayi, who was crowned the Player of the Season, fending off competition from his teammates Rilwan Gbadamosi (Assist King) and Dannaz striker Joshua Obakimi.
Fagbayi registered 13 goals to finish as the fifth top scorer in the League behind Ibrahim Ogede (Iganmu), Obakimi, Ogbona Okoro (Dino) and Kparobo.

Sporting Lagos Academy and Real Sapphire were also well-represented in the Team of the Season with two players each, showcasing the depth of talent on display in the TCC.
Beyond Limits, the champions for the fourth time in a row were also honored, with their leading scorer Kparobo Arierhi taking home the Golden Boot award after netting 22 goals in just 15 matches.

In a special highlight, a young Flying Eagles star was also recognized for his outstanding performances.
His manager and Golden Eaglets assistant coach, Olumide Ajibolade, was named the Coach of the Season with a special message from his parents and colleagues.

The TCC Awards and Dinner Night was a landmark occasion, celebrating the creativity, skill, and determination of the players, coaches, and clubs that have made the league such a captivating spectacle.
The event not only recognized the best of the best but also shone a light on the future of Nigerian football, with the emergence of the Flying Eagles wonderkid and the likes of Fagbayi and Gbadamosi, the tournament’s KDB.
