Ten Hag advised to leave Manchester United
Dutch journalist Leon Ten Voorde, a friend of Ten Hag's, revealed he advised the manager to leave last summer:
"I advised him to leave last summer. He won the FA Cup, so you leave through the front door."
Ten Voorde questioned United's patience:
"How long does United think this can go on? That's a perfectly fair question. I think it's a miracle he's still there. You've been wondering for a long time how long this will go well for Ten Hag."
United drew 0-0 with Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon and there is a feeling that Ten Hag has avoided an imminent sack thanks to avoiding defeat.
