Erik Ten Hag has informed Manchester United fans that they should not expect an instant start for Manuel Ugarte.
Liverpool thrashed the Red Devils 3-0 at home, extending their dismal start to the new campaign.
The Red Devils suffered their second defeat of the season, which comes as a back-to-back loss for Ten Hag.
The loss leaves Man United in 14th position on the Premier League table with just three points in the first three games of the season.

We are excited — Ten Hag in buoyant mood ahead of Liverpool clash
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag believes his team are ready for the challenge of Liverpool at Old Trafford this Sunday.
Ten Hag speaks on Ugarte
The Dutch boss has told fans that he is not a magician and he can’t just wave a wand to make Ugarte an immediate starter.
According to the Sun, Ten Hag said, “It’s just the third game in the season, we have to build a new team.
“We have young players, we had three players making their first start of the season, they didn’t play 90 minutes.”
“With Ugarte, we have to build him into the team. It will take time, so it’s not like I’m Harry Potter. That is what you have to acknowledge. And if you see Manuel Ugarte, he didn't play so far in the season. Not one match minute.
"So he needs to build his fitness rate and then we have to build him in the team and I am sure he will contribute to our level and he will be an important player but that will take a couple of weeks, maybe even months.”
Before kickoff, supporters were given a sneak peek at new £50.8 million midfielder Manuel Ugarte. Man United will need to pick up the pace as they go way behind the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
