Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo has discussed Taiwo Awoniyi’s possible exit to West Ham this January.
The 27-year-old attacker has had a difficult season with Forest after facing lots of injuries that have kept him out of the team.
Awoniyi has been forced to take a backseat at the City Ground, with Chris Wood taking his starting spot in the team.
Without a doubt, the player who used to score goals for the Reds will feel a little excluded given how high they are in the league.

However, Nuno Espirito Santo has responded to reports that Awoniyi would leave Nottingham Forest in January by denying any involvement in a potential transfer.
According to the Nottingham Post, he said, “Taiwo came on late in the game (against Liverpool), having played very well in the previous game against Luton.
“We hope that he progresses with his fitness level because we know the talent and the quality he has. He is a goalscorer.

“He always has an impact, he always has chances. That is what you can say about Taiwo. Is there something I do not know? Are there rumours?”
Forest, however, are excelling in the English Premier League as they sit third behind Arsenal in second place.
