In August, the 24-year-old moved from Southampton to Bayer Leverkusen for an estimated €18.00 million.

Boniface, Tella join Super Eagles legend Kanu Nwankwo in exclusive club after Bundesliga win

Tella praised by Simon Rolfes
This season Tella scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions for Leverkusen in their unbeaten run.
Simon Rolfes has praised the 24-year-old winger, who was in the Championships the previous season, for his chances of winning a treble and creating history with this Leverkusen team.
Rolfes said, as reported by TalkSports, “Nathan Tella came late in the transfer window in August and he needed time to adapt.
“He was always ambitious to develop himself and also to give good energy to the team and towards the team.
“Now he’s getting much more minutes than at the beginning of the season. That’s also a success story for himself and also for the team.”
If Leverkusen wins their match against Augsburg today, Tella has the opportunity to create Bundesliga history.
Leverkusen will become the first football team to win every game since the competition's start in 1963.
