Prior to the start of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) increased prize money by 40%, not only for the triumphant team but also for earnings at every stage.

Ivory Coast emerged victors at the edition after a narrow 2-1 victory over Nigeria on Sunday for their third AFCON title.
