Daniel Ogunmodede, the coach of Remo Stars, has voiced concerns regarding the salary standard received by coaches in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Remo Stars head coach has been a shining light for the club since joining in August 2022, having led them to challenge for the title last season.
The club has been on a successful path since they got promoted to the NPFL and have qualified severally for the CAF tournaments.
Ogunmodede thinks a big part of the reason the NPFL isn't growing the way fans want it to is the low compensation that coaches receive.

“This is a coach that goes that goes to one single match. Everybody wants money from him, everybody.”
The Remo Stars coach has asked that NPFL coaches should be paid well in other to improve the standard of the league.
Last season, Ogunmodede nearly brought Remo Stars to the league title, losing the league by only five points.
