Rodri complains about fixture congestion
Rodri had indicated that players may soon strike to protest the growing fixture congestion.
The Manchester City star is one of the favourites for the Ballon d'Or said, "I think we are close to that. If it keeps this way, it will be a moment that we have no other option, but let's see."
The Manchester City star played 63 games last season for club and country, and that number is set to spike this season, with the expansion of the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup scheduled for the summer.

Figo disagrees with Rodri's strike Suggestion
However, Figo believes that the increasing number of matches is a natural consequence of the growing popularity and financial value of football.
Figo's comments come in response to Rodri and other players who have expressed concerns about the physical and mental strain of playing a demanding schedule.
While Figo acknowledges the challenges faced by players, he believes that the current system is sustainable and that solutions must be found without resorting to drastic measures like strikes.
"We have to see what the best solution is. But it's logical that there are more and more matches. It's all like a snowball. The more matches, the bigger the contracts. If there are fewer matches, the contracts will be reduced," Figo said via Complete Sports.
