Super Eagles forwards Victor Boniface teased his teammate with a story from 2013.

Victor Boniface is known for his light-hearted nature, both online and in the dressing room. He's always up for a good laugh and recently tried to bring some humour to the table by playfully teasing his Super Eagles teammate Taiwo Awoniyi.

As they sat side by side on their flight to Rwanda for the team's second AFCON qualifier match, Boniface attempted to lift the mood by jokingly pestering Awoniyi.

He asked the Nottingham Forest player to hand over £100 and to make his request more appealing, he revealed that he skipped hurdles to watch the U-17 World Cup in which Awoniyi featured.

What Boniface said

Boniface teased the Tricky Trees striker in the video making the rounds on the internet, asking him to send him money. Awoniyi replied by teasing Boniface as well, telling him he is an accomplished striker associated with the Bundesliga.

Boniface then proceeded to narrate a funny story, telling Awoniyi that he was sent on an errand to buy seasoning while Nigeria were playing the 2013 U-17 World Cup final against Mexico.

Awoniyi played seven games in the tournament in the UAE; he scored four goals. Boniface, who is currently 23, was aged 12 at the time.
