Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek has claimed that the team would fight any attempt to lure Victor Osimhen away during the January transfer window.
Osimhen moved to Galatasaray on loan from Napoli during the summer transfer window after a failed transfer to a top club in Europe.
The striker has started enjoying life in Turkey since his move and has been an important player for Galatasaray.
The Super Eagles star has scored nine goals in 12 games and provided five assists, helping Galatasaray top the Turkish League.

Dursun speaks on Osimhen’s link
Özbek stated that they are prepared to retain Osimhen past next month and that an agreement has been reached for him to remain at Galatasaray for the remainder of the season.
Speaking with A Spor via spor skor, he said, "Victor Osimhen came like a 100-year-old Galatasaray and is adapting. If you see his attitude in Florya. I think we have a share here and I am very happy.
"Those who cannot adapt to this atmosphere cannot stay in Galatasaray anyway. He is our player this season.
"There is a very difficult clause for him to leave during the mid-season break. According to our agreement, he will play for us until the end of the season. No one should bend it. He will make his own decision at the end of the season.”
Despite indications that the 25-year-old is at ease in Galatasaray, there have been reports tying him to the RAMS Park in January.
According to reports, Chelsea would try to pursue the Super Eagles forward if they get a compelling offer for Christopher Nkunku.
However, Osimhen has claimed to be committed to staying at RAMS Park till the end of the season, ruling out a move within the next month.
