Le Roy speaks on 2025 AFCON competition
Le Roy thinks it will be a tough fight for the crown and considers hosts Morocco, Egypt, Senegal, and Côte d'Ivoire to be formidable opponents, with South Africa and Nigeria perhaps possibly making an appearance.

According to LeSitelnfo, he said, “Logically, they (Morocco) are the biggest favourites, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Algeria… Egypt is always a formidable opponent in this competition.
“We must also be careful with South Africa, which continues to progress thanks to a very good coach. Cameroon is also one of the competitors who are always difficult to beat.”

Nigeria, who are vying for their fourth AFCON championship, would be keen to advance in Morocco following their disappointing experience in Côte d'Ivoire.
