Concerns have been expressed by a former Super Eagles striker regarding Victor Osimhen's lack of respect in Europe.
Osimhen’s transfer away from Napoli has become a major concern after several negotiations failed to yield any progress.
Chelsea has indicated they would like to sign the Napoli striker this summer, but financial concerns have caused the talks to stall.
The forward has also attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Saudi Arabian team Al Ahli recently.

Ideye speaks on Osimhen’s transfer
2013 AFCON winner Brown Ideye expressed his dismay over what he believes to be European teams' lack of regard for Osimhen.
Ideye shared on X, "It’s a shame they don’t rate him among the top strikers abroad, after an amazing season with his club and winning the African Best Player award.”
Osimhen has a release clause in his Napoli contract worth an estimated €120 million to €130 million.
This price has pushed several big clubs away from negotiating a deal for the Super Eagles striker with Napoli.
Al Ahli made a bid that was far less than the release clause, ranging from €65 million to €70 million, but PSG was unable to come to a deal.
Another issue delaying Osimhen’s transfer is his wages and he has decided that he won't take any salary reduction.
Osimhen is allegedly open to a loan move with an option for a permanent transfer but not at the expense of his salary.
