The incident
Today's Manchester derby was one of the least anticipated in a while, given the abysmal form of both teams. The inadequacies of the opposing factions were laid bare as the match ended in a drab, goalless affair.
In the tepid encounter, an incident in the 58th minute was worthy of note, as Manchester United fans sang derogatorily about Foden’s mom when the England international was substituted for Jeremy Doku.
What Guardiola said
Speaking after the game, the Cityzens boss addressed the issue, stating that the fans responsible for the chants had no class nor integrity.

"Lack of class. But it's not United, it's the people, you know,” Guardiola said, per the BBC.
“We are so exposed in the screen in world football - managers, owners, and football players especially. Honestly, I don't understand the mind of the people involving the mum of Phil. It's a lack of integrity, class, and they should be ashamed."
Meanwhile, Guardiola and the Manchester City hierarchy would have to work on replacing Kevin De Bruyne, who announced he would be leaving the club in the summer. Here are five names that could fill the hole his exit would create.
