Super Eagles legend Mikel Obi has opened up about being offered drugs during his playing days at Chelsea.
Last month, Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk failed a drug test after it was found out that he took a substance.
Despite struggling to get enough playing time in the Chelsea team, he has added another complicated situation that could see him get banned for up to four years if found guilty.
Mudryk has also come out to release a statement of his innocence, explaining his situation after his failed doping test.

Mikel Obi speaks about being offered drugs
Following Mudryk’s situation, Mikel has also recounted many occasions where he was offered drugs by friends.
Speaking on Obi One podcast, he said, “People around will offer you stuff-friends, friends of friends-they will tell you that this will give you this or it will give you one or two more percent in your performances, and I’m like what is this? Is this legal?
“I tell them to go away, I don’t want to talk about it. We have to take responsibility for our actions and what we eat.”
He claimed that during his tenure at Chelsea, friends and coworkers offered him uncommon performance-enhancing drugs, but he declined.
Mudryk will be looking to clear his name from the doping case levelled against him, but if found guilty, he would see a massive decline in his career trajectory.
