Ademola Lookman, Super Eagles star, has expressed his feelings over his recent nomination for the esteemed African Footballer of the Year award.
The forward was recently nominated for the CAF African Footballer of the Year award which will be held in Morroco in December.
The winger played an important role in helping the Super Eagles reach the final of the 2023 AFCON tournament and also helped Atalanta win their first European trophy in their history.
Lookman has taken his last season form into the new season and currently blazing on all cylinders for Atalanta.

Ademola Lookman showed why he is the favourite to win the CAF Player of the Year award with four-goal contributions in Atalanta’s thrashing of Hellas Verona.
Lookman looking forward to winning award
Lookman was thrilled to get the nomination in a post-match interview with DAZN, as reported by Tuttomecartoweb.
The Atalanta star said, "Being nominated for this award is special, because it concerns my country. I feel proud and I have to keep working, only then can these awards come."
In a stunning display, the Nigerian forward scored two goals and provided two assists as he guided his team to a decisive victory at the Gewiss Stadium.
Atalanta went on to thrash Hellas Verona 6-1 on the night, with the home team scoring five goals in the first half before crowning it with the sixth in the second half.
Lookman's four-goal contribution in the game also boosts his chances of winning the CAF award come December.
The Super Eagles winger has now scored five goals and provided five assists in his first nine games of the season.
