An Italian coach suggested that Super Eagles Fisayo Dele Bashiru should play more games as a winger.
An Italian coach has tipped Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele Bashiru to play more games at left wing after the former Hatayspor man shone in that position in the 1-1 draw against Cesc Fabregas’s Como.
Fisayo joined the Rome-based side in the summer as an attacking midfielder, and while he has shown his quality on occasions, he has been largely inconsistent.

Naija Stars Abroad: Super Eagles duo Lookman and Dele-Bashiru emerge holiday stars
Naija Stars Abroad's holiday edition features Super Eagles duo Ademola Lookman and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru as the stars.
However, during last weekend's clash, the Nigerian had one of his better games when he played on the flanks, with 21-year-old French midfielder Loum Tchaouna replacing him in midfield.
What was said
In a post-match analysis, Angelo Gregucci, who was formerly a member of the coaching staff at Inter Milan, commended Fisayo’s showing in the match and surmised that he could reprise the role.
“It can be repeated. For him (Dele-Bashiru), it makes little difference whether he plays as an attacking midfielder or a winger,” Gregucci said, per La Lazio Siamo Noi.
Fisayo is one of the midfield talents at Eric Chelle's disposal, and with the former Mali coach’s penchant for attacking football, the former QPR ace could become crucial.
While he has exclusively played in midfield, a continuation in wide positions, as suggested by Gregucci, could provide some tactical flexibility for Chelle, allowing him to field more attackers.
