Wakiso Giants FC star Moses Aliro is moments away from inking a deal to join four-time Uganda Premier League champions, URA Football Club.
Aliro, whose two-year contract with the Purple Sharks is set to expire at the end of June, is in advanced talks to become a Tax Collector, sources at the club have told this website.
It has been reported a two-year deal is in place for the talented attacking midfielder, should he agree to become a Taxman.
The KCCA FC graduate joined Wakiso from the former at the start of the 2021/23 and has since been a mainstay in latter's team.
Over the past two seasons, Aliro has featured 52 times in the Uganda Premier League, netting 12 goals.
That represents a big leap considering he only played 27 league games with KCCA across two seasons, scoring just once.
Aliro's biggest attribute is his versatility, as he can operate as an attacking midfielder, a winger and as a support striker.
URA is in the quest of strengthening their ranks having already parted ways with midfielder Salim Abdallah and forward Living Kabon.
