Tottenham Hotspurs have made contact with the former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann as they continue their search for a new manager.

Antonio Conte was recently sacked in March after making some ill comments about the club. Since the sacking of their manager, they have been linked to several high-profile managers.

The Italian was replaced by an interim coach Cristian Stellini but their performance did not improve and was sacked afterwards. Ryan Mason was brought in a few days later as an interim coach to complete the season with the club.

Recent reports have suggested that Tottenham have held a crucial meeting with the 35-year-old as a replacement for Antonio Conte.

Tottenham search for new manager

Since the sacking of Antonio Conte, Tottenham Hotspurs have been in search of a new manager as they look to prepare ahead of next season.

According to Sky Germany, Spurs have spoken with German tactician Julian Nagelsmann and are hoping they can strike a deal for him to become the manager next season.

Spurs have also had other managers linked to the club with the likes of Roberto De Zerbi, Thomas Frank and Steve Cooper who all manage clubs in England.

Tottenham struggling to qualify for European football

Spurs are currently seventh on the league table with the hope of qualifying for European football hanging in the balance.

Interim manager Ryan Mason has been brought in to help steady the ship but they have struggled to get back on their feet.

Tottenham have only managed just one win in their last seven games. They were recently trashed 6-1 by Newcastle some week ago and also lost to Liverpool which leaves them nine points away from the top four with just four games left.

Spurs will face Crystal Palace on Saturday and will be hoping they can get a win as they continue to push for European football.
