German side Hoffenheim are in advance talks with French side Lyon for the signing of Super Eagles star Gift Orban.
Orban made a big money transfer move from Gent to Lyon in January 2024 for a fee worth €12 million.
The forward signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Ligue 1 side and was expected to hit the ground running.
However, he has struggled to get enough playing time at the club due to his poor form since his arrival.

It has been reported that Hoffenheim are discussing a potential transfer for the forward as they look to bolster their attack in January.
Although an agreement is yet to be reached by both parties, it is thought that a deal can be agreed upon soon.
The striker has also been linked to other clubs in the last few weeks, with reports suggesting that he could join Victor Osimhen at Galatasaray.
The forward has lost the confidence of his manager, who does not see him in his plans at the club.
