Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of 22-year-old full-back Yan Couto from Manchester City.
Borussia Dortmund have secured the signing of 22-year-old full-back Yan Couto from Manchester City on an initial 12-month loan deal, with an obligation to make the transfer permanent next summer for a reported £23 million.
Yan Couto leaves Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund
Couto joined Manchester City in 2020 from Brazilian side Cortiba FC for £5 million but failed to make a first-team appearance for the Premier League champions.
Instead, he spent three seasons on loan at Spanish side Girona, owned by the City Football Group, and later at Braga in Portugal.

During his time at Girona, Couto made 95 appearances, scoring five goals and providing 17 assists across all competitions.
He played a crucial role in helping the club achieve a third-place finish in La Liga and qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
The Brazil international will now join Borussia Dortmund, who reached the Champions League final last season, on a loan deal with a guaranteed permanent transfer next summer.
This move marks a new chapter in Couto's career, offering him the opportunity to establish himself at a top European club.
