Liam Delap has left Manchester City to join newly-promoted Premier League side Ipswich Town on a permanent deal worth up to £20M on a 5-year contract.

Delap, 21, is highly rated by Pep Guardiola and the City staff after his impressive goalscoring record for the reserves.

He represented England at youth level, finishing as top scorer at the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Aegean Tournament in Turkey.
He went on to make six senior appearances for Man City, including his Premier League debut against Leicester in September 2020
The competition for places at City saw the son of famous Stoke star Rory Delap, sent out on loan to Hull City where he scored 8 goals in 32 appearances in the Championship last season, and Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna believes he is ready to take the next step.
Ipswich is a club familiar to many Nigerians, as former Super Eagles head coach Finidi George starred for the club from 2001 to 2003.
