Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal are have reportedly turned to Manchester City for the next signings.

Al-Hilal are reportedly targeting Manchester City defenders Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo, along with Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong, to bolster their defense.

The Saudi Pro League side had initially pursued Trent Alexander-Arnold, but he declined the offer.

However, Cancelo's situation is more fluid, having spent the past season and a half on loan at Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

Pep Guardiola has left the door open for Cancelo to return to the first team, but a departure seems possible.

"About what's going to happen, it depends on his agents and the club," Guardiola said.

"In the end, if he has to stay, we will treat him like all the other players, with respect, and try to take the best from the huge qualities he has."

Al-Hilal aims to replace Saud Abdulhamid, who has attracted interest from Reims and Roma, with Roma having already tabled an offer.

Manchester United began the season with a fine 2-0 win over Chelsea, and take on Ipswich at home on Saturday.
