Premier League giants Manchester City have reportedly identified a potential replacement for Julian Alvarez.
Manchester City's potential sale of Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid for 95 million euros means a spot has opened up in the team, and perhaps the Argentine World Cup winner will need to be replaced.
However, Pep Guardiola may not need to look far for a replacement, as they may have already found the next Alvarez in their ranks.

Claudio Echeverri could replace Julian Alvarez
Oscar Bobb, who impressed on the summer tour, Phil Foden, who is expected to play more inside this season, and youngsters James McAtee and Nico O'Reilly, who will be added to the squad, are all internal options.
Additionally, City signed teenage attacker Claudio Echeverri in January for an initial £12.5m, and he has continued to develop at River Plate.
Echeverri, who joined Alvarez in the Argentina squad for the Olympics, is expected to spend the rest of the year with his former club before joining City. If his development goes as planned, he could become a valuable addition to City's attacking options and save the club the need to spend on a big-money transfer.
City's success with Alvarez, who was signed in January 2022 for a relatively low fee and sold for a huge profit, demonstrates their ability to identify and develop talent.
They may be poised to repeat this success with Echeverri, who could become the next Alvarez-like talent to emerge from the club's ranks.
